JONATHAN GOLLINGS

Jonathan graduated from Bristol University in 2005, where he was awarded the BDA medal for clinical dentistry and the Claudius Ash prize in restorative dentistry. Jonathan worked in general practice in Bristol, before moving to Queensland, Australia, where he worked in hospital and private practice. Jonathan has completed four years of post-graduate training being awarded a certificate in advanced restorative dentistry in 2009, and a post-graduate diploma in Implant dentistry in 2016 at the Eastman Dental Institute, London. Jonathan enjoys all aspects of dentistry and aims to deliver a high standard of care, especially in complex prosthetic cases and aesthetic reconstructions. He is able to offer treatment plans tailored to the patient’s needs, and being a dentist who can place dental implants, this greatly widens the scope of restorative options available.

Aside from working in practice Jonathan has represented dentaid as a member of the board of trustees and has helped them in research projects, specifically on the subject of IOM (infant oral mutilation). He travelled to Tanzania to deliver dental aid offering a chance to see first hand the huge problem of dental disease in these areas. He is on the team of advocates to end IOM in Africa – www.endiom.org.

Jonathan enjoys being involved with his local church and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys most things that involve expelling energy and being outdoors, mainly golf, cycling and windsurfing. He is married to Millie, who also helps with administration at the practice. They have four children – Grace, Rosie, Joshua and Jonah.

Benjamin Williamson

BDS (Lond) MFDS RCSEd PGDipImpDent (Eastman)

Ben was born and raised in Poole. After qualifying from Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’s Dental Institute, King’s College London, he completed his Vocational Training in Somerset and headed straight into busy Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Senior House Officer positions in Bristol and Poole.

These roles provided Ben with invaluable training in diagnosis, head and neck pathology and surgical skills. Ben subsequently gained Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

After returning to general practice, Ben has continued to develop his skill set in all areas of dentistry, both within the private sector and the NHS, as well as successfully guiding newly qualified dentists through their own compulsory Foundational Training as their mentor for the last few years.

His love of oral surgery and restorative dentistry naturally lead him to pursue additional training and has just passed his first year of the Masters Degree in Implant Dentistry at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London.

When not working or studying, he is spending his time with family, at the gym and enjoying the local area of his home town.

Kelly Govier

Hygienist – GDC No. 6298

Kelly started her career in dentistry as a Dental Nurse in 1997, before pursuing her dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist. She successfully completed her training at King’s College London and qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2003. Kelly was awarded the ‘Best Clinician’ In her graduating year.

Kelly also gained a NVQ in Oral Health Education.

Nadia Bunting - Whitehall House Dental

Hygienist

Having grown up in South Devon, Nadia moved to London to study at Kings Dental Institute and gained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2000.

Nadia was awarded the highest marks in her year in a BTEC for Promotion of Oral Health and received qualifications in dental radiography and administration of local anaesthetics.

Nadia has remained a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and is registered with the General Dental Council. She enjoys attending conferences and study days to continue her professional development and has developed a particular interest in working with nervous patients and building a rapport to get the best results from her treatment and care.

After working for 5 years on Harley Street in London, Nadia moved to Dorset with her husband Alistair and 2 children. She enjoys keeping fit, walking her dog and travel, especially within the UK.

Katrina Baker

Treatment Co-Ordinator

Katrina has been a qualified dental nurse since 2004. She joined the team here in 2012. Katrina looks after all aspects of nursing at the practice, including clinical governance, cross-infection policy, clinical audits and material ordering. Katrina completed her implant training in 2014 alongside Jonathan and has taken on the roll at Whitehall, of a Treatment Co-Ordinator.

She is married to Nathan, and has 3 children. They live close by in Wareham. Katrina loves nothing more than to spend time with her family, holidaying, walking and making memories.

Mandy Mooney - Whitehall House Dental

Mandy Mooney

Mandy qualified as a dental nurse in 1995 and achieved the national certificate in dental nursing.

Mandy enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has gained valuable experience over the years. With her biggest passion being surgical procedures and assisting in implant surgery. She finds her role at the practice interesting and very rewarding.

Mandy is a mum of 2 and enjoys travelling, swimming and spending time with her family.

Petra Sugden

Dental Nurse- GDC No. 195556

Petra has been a qualified dental nurse since 2010. She has an NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing and completed an advanced implant surgery course in 2015.

Petra has worked many happy years in the dental industry, throughout Bournemouth and Poole. She gained the role of head dental nurse in her previous practice. Petra’s biggest passion is surgical nursing, and she loves to help people. The thing she finds the most rewarding, is seeing a patient smile!

Petra loves spending time with her family and friends. She has 3 children and loves walking her dog Myla. She also loves Skiing and the mountains.

Mel - Whitehall House Dental

Receptionist

Mel is the friendly face you will meet on reception. Aside from her work at the practice, Mel also acts as personal secretary to local private medical consultants running their practices. She has a key role in the management of the practice and updating clinical governance and the like.

Caroline Brown

Receptionist

Caroline brings a vast amount of experience to her role having worked as a nurse, receptionist, and practice manager in the dental industry for forty years. Caroline enjoys working with the public and interacting with our patients.

She moved from Buckinghamshire to Dorset in 1994. She took time out of her career to raise her three children and re-join the work environment after her children went to school. Caroline enjoys cooking and trying new recipes and during the covid lockdown she embarked on the couch to 5k and still enjoys running now.

Millie Gollings - Whitehall House Dental

Practice Administrator

Mille is married to Jonathan and supports the practice behind the scenes, whilst juggling her time with ‘mummy’ duties for Grace, Rosie, Joshua and Jonah. Millie helps with the administration work for the practice including accounts, marketing and reception.

Millie qualified from Bristol University with an honours degree in Physics and French. She is ultra-creative and her previous work involved events management for a local charity. She enjoys cooking extravagant meals, fabrics design, keeping fit and socialising with friends. She says about life in Dorset, “I love living in such a beautiful area. We are very blessed with having beaches and stunning countryside so close by to bring up the children, and be able to achieve a healthy work / life balance”.

As a new patient to our practice we promise to make your experience relaxed and informative.

A complete dental record will include x-rays, photos of the teeth and laboratory made study models. Using intra-oral camera technology provides a great way to show our patients their teeth in magnified detail.

This visit is very much tailored to you, so please do come prepared to discuss anything you would like to change about the appearance or comfort of your teeth or any other concerns you may have about visiting the dentist. We can then together draw up a treatment plan to suit your personal needs.
